Engaging new participants for your programs

Retreat Guru is the world's largest marketplace for authentic retreats. Every day we get thousands of people actively searching for offerings like yours. It’s the place for new people to find your center, learn about your programs, ask a question and book online. Retreat Guru continues to invest significant resources through advertising and other initiatives that drive traffic to the Marketplace. The goal? So you will find new participants for your retreats, programs, and events.

No upfront costs

As a retreat Host, you can list unlimited retreats and online offerings on retreat.guru for FREE with zero upfront advertising costs. You will only be charged for verified online bookings that found you on the retreat.guru platform. Our professional services team is available to help optimize your listings and pull in qualified traffic to meet your needs.

Marketplace Commission Fee

When a guest finds and books your retreat on our marketplace Retreat Guru receives a 14% commission on the total price of the retreat. It is up to you as the Host to collect the remainder of the retreat balance through your normal registration process.

Lowest Price Guarantee

When you as the Host, list an event, product, or service on the Marketplace, you are not allowed to list that same item for a lower price elsewhere.

Confirming bookings

When a participant books through the Marketplace, you are required to confirm their booking within 48 hours.

Responding to Messages

Messages sent through the Marketplace from prospective participants appear in the Messages area in Retreat Guru. A copy of every message is also sent to the email you have on file in your Account area. It is your responsibility, as a the Host, to respond to these messages within 48 hours.

Cancellation policies

Two levels of cancellation policies apply to all purchases on the Marketplace. The default policy is set to Moderate when your account is first created. The policy can be updated from your Account Details page.

Flexible

  • - 100% refund for cancellation 30+ days before the start date.
  • - 50% refund for cancellation 15-29 days before the start date.
  • - 0% refund for cancellation 0-14 days before the start date.
  • - The remaining balance (total price minus deposit) is due before your retreat begins.

Moderate

  • - 100% refund for cancellation 60+ days before the start date.
  • - 50% refund for cancellation 30-59 days before the start date.
  • - 0% refund for cancellation 0-29 days before the start date.
  • - The remaining balance (total price minus deposit) is due before your retreat begins.

 

To ease the cancellation and refund process, we ask you to discuss this with the guest directly. This allows you an opportunity to save the booking or provide a different solution. As the Host, you are responsible for notifying Retreat Guru in the event a participant cancels or does not attend their retreat. Once the cancellation is confirmed, Retreat Guru will issue a refund for the deposit amount paid on the Marketplace. In the event that you, as the Host, cancel an event, you must reimburse the participant for any payments made to you within 14 days of the cancellation notification.

Managing Listings

We reserve the right at our sole discretion to modify or remove a listing on the Marketplace. Our intent for any such modification will be to increase visibility, appeal, and ranking. The scope would typically be limited to changing the title, correcting grammar and punctuation, editing the flow and arrangement of sections, images, and text, and similar actions. Non-compliance with these policies may result in you, as the Host, being banned from the Marketplace. Read the full Terms of Service agreement.
